This is the fourteenth interview from a 2018 series by Caroline Kraabel, initially broadcast on London's art radio station, Resonance 104.4 FM. Philipp Wachsmann improvises with viola, violin and electronics, and was a member of the original London Skyscraper group, as well as having been an important figure in the field of improvisation and contemporary mucic for many years.


'I like to construct something new at the moment every time, and of course... I probably fail! Inevitably one fails, because one is oneself, with one's fingerprints and so on.
